Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

You can take as long as you need. It’s taught by me over 12 hours of live video presentations and you will need to take time to go back over the course content and practice each group session, which means you can be teaching in a very short time. You have 12 months access to the course materials so you can take your time.

The main training is 12 hours of study and then I suggest spending another 10 - 20 hours to familiarise yourself with the content and lesson plans. You will need to add in time to create your marketing materials, update your website with the Beyond Birth information and host a few trial sessions.

Absolutely not. Everything is covered and more. I have been teaching groups and 1:1’s online for several years now and and create materials all the time. 100% of my clients when asked said my courses overdeliver on value and exceeded their expectations. If you need additional mentoring, we can discuss this and arrange a day and time to suit you, for an additional discounted fee.

No, but it can help if you have experience in hosting group pre or post natal classes, or working with groups, teaching, coaching or 1:1 support. However, if you are keen to help your community by running these groups, you can do the training and book an extra 1:1 session with me to get you feeling confident.

There is no minimum. I suggest a maximum number of 10. It’s best to keep these sessions smaller to go through the exercises more personally, and keep distractions and noise levels down as much as possible. However, we don’t want to exclude people for any reason, so it’s up to you.

The guide is available online via the website and Amazon and £1 is donated to Pandas Foundation. You can choose to either donate your £1 or receive it as commission.

You will be given training in how to manage these situations.

At first, it’s advisable to do this, and each of the 6 sessions is mapped out for you. However, you may feel you can introduce the content into your other classes and this is absolutely fine to do, as long as people know it’s Beyond Birth content (it’s still my intellectual property and copy-written).

Absolutely. The online sessions have their pros and cons just as the local in-person groups do. The mindfulness and relaxation works particularly well online.

From birth to around 10 - 12 months.

You will get a certificate which will enable you to practice as a professional Beyond Birth Mental Wellbeing Practitioner and hold groups or 1:1 in person or online sessions.

I recommend that if you have a pregnant group, you wait until after they have their babies and don’t mix pregnant and new parents together. The guide is great to start in pregnancy though.I am working on an antenatal version of the course for your to offer - coming soon!

Definitely. You and your clients will benefit from running these groups either at the same time, or following.

We recommend that in-person groups are charged at around £50 for 6 sessions, and online groups around £40 for 6 sessions. However, if your outgoings are high, for instance, venue hire and travel, then you can of course charge more to compensate.

Yes, but I ask that you use the Beyond Birth logo and branding with the Group content alongside your logo.
